Green Sandpiper #20

Another good morning birding, this time at Pickering's Pasture. No sign of the Mistle Thrush I am still looking for, but plenty of other species to see - 32 in all, including distant sparrowhawk, curlew, redshank, and this nice little green sandpiper. It is cropped in massively as it was towards the island in the middle of the pool, but it's not something I see very often so had to be my blip today. We also had a good view of the male Great Spotted Woodpecker(extras) feeding at the screen, which was going to be my blip until I spotted the sandpiper and redshank.
