Wild Ponies

I walked with A this afternoon through the Lowes and the Country Park, just missing a cuppa at Hetty's as we arrived too late. On the Lowes we came across four of the wild ponies. Initially you catch a glimpse of white through the trees, they look quite mystical.

This morning I had my first hypnotherapy session (for 1 hr 45 mins), although this was pretty much just a consultation and fact finding about my background and IBS issues, plus explaining what happens and what it involves. I'll continue with it, see what happens and whether it has any benefits.

This week I've been following the on-going news story about a large WWII unexploded bomb being dredged up in Great Yarmouth, causing much disruption, a no-fly zone and people being evacuated. An extra problem has been its proximity to two large gas pipes. I've just read that the bomb has now exploded during a slow burn of the explosives.

Covid Update
The weekly ONS infection survey of private households up to w/e 31st Jan showed infections are a bit uncertain, with an estimated 1 in 65 with the virus in England (up); 1 in 65 in Scotland (uncertain); 1 in 85 in Wales (uncertain) and 1 in 70 in NI (down). People have until Sun 12th Feb to have their autumn booster, going forward the NHS will focus only on at-risk people. Analysis has shown that no new variants have emerged during the recent large surge of cases in China.
