Bright sparks

The weather was grim this morning, very grey and much colder than yesterday.

We went to Community singing first thing and learned a new song. A and I knew it as we sang it in pantomime a few years ago but with the addition of harmony we had to do a bit of re learning.

Usual M & S shop where the shop followed by coffee in Costa were pretty quiet but the car park was manic! Can’t think why.

As we returned over the moor I debated whether to stop to take a picture of the brighter rays appearing through the cloud, it wasn’t spectacular and finding somewhere to stop on the narrow busy roads is tricky but after a stop in Bingley we returned home to a sunny afternoon.

These crocus just shone in the back garden, I just had to blip them again. This little clump under the remains a Fuchsia Microphylia and amongst the dead leaves seemed to really light up. The whole bed looks lovely. At the other end of the bed at the base of the larger if the two trees the leaves of Iris Reticulata can be seen. Extra. The ones in the pots are open now, I’m hoping these will be a mix of pale blue and a deep purple /blue when they open. Time will tell.

A lovely afternoon now.
