Spoilt for Choice

... on another day which after a grey start turned out nice again!

A gentle, late morning walk with C and the Megs down at the Point, the sun just breaking through as we arrived.   By the time we got back it was warming up nicely and the sun on greenhouse and frames encouraged a bout of photography with the proper camera.   Too many nice things to choose from so there's a collage in extra of l-r:  Corydalis maracandica, Colchicum kesselringii and a crocus raised from seed, flowering for the first time.  Maybe a hybrid between Crocus tommasinianus and Crocus vernus but it's unusual for such hybrids to be so uniform.  It's a lovely thing whatever we call it.

I also did some more work on the new raised bed out front, added information labels to various flowering crocuses to help streamline things at repotting time and planted a lot of cyclamen seed that I had pre-germinated.   Add in some early morning admin and it's been another productive day.

I had to pick up some meds for Jamie to take away with him, from Dolgellau late this afternoon.  The low sun lit the lake and the hills beautifully.  I stopped in a different spot for a slightly different shot for a change.  After tea with Jamie, garden club and a talk on Bee Keeping.  Warm, tired and well fed I sat at the back ..... ;-)   Afterwards I failed to avoid being asked to go on the club quiz team for an inter-club event in a couple of weeks time.   It'll be a good laugh I guess!

A thoroughly good day.
