Marjorie's ramblings

The end of the day

We were up and out before dawn to be ready for the myriad of colours in the sea and sky at Luskentyre. The sunrise there is not spectacular, but the pastel shades are entrancing. One image is the first extra.

Once the sun was higher in the sky, the familiar turquoise appeared in the sea. I loved the way the oyster catchers lined up for breakfast, second extra.

Breakfast/brunch/lunch was at The Waterside Café in Tarbert. Great food but keep your coat on!

In the afternoon we were at Seilebost then Scarista. It was so sunny that we sat and had a picnic in the dunes!

Northton was our final venue. The sun was low and was illuminating the waves as the tide came in. It is very hard to capture the magic but I took loads of images. The main is from there.

We were in the quirky (and cold) shed at Northton fir home made pizzas cooked in a wood fired pizza oven. Brilliant.

I was again too tired to post images, hence I’m back blipping.
