Life's Little Moments

Tiny and Seasonal

I caught the tiniest glimpse of purple in my side garden yesterday which turned out to be the very first miniature iris to burst into bloom.  In February.  A testament to the unusually warm winter we've had.  And also perfect for the Tiny Tuesday "seasonal" challenge.  A more diligent photographer would have stacked a bunch of images of this to get front-to-back focus.  Maybe another day.

PT was hard yesterday - it's all about the abs and I think the therapist is secretly trying to kill me.  And now I have homework ... which include planks.  Oy.

Jax and I went for a walk on the Lane after lunch.  No distractions so he was well behaved and kept a loose leash for most of the walk.  And apparently lots of interesting smells, which always wears him out.

My big accomplishment today was finally opening the packet from our accountant and getting started on compiling all the info to get our taxes done.  I have procrastinated for weeks on this as it's a task I despise.  But, as usual, once I sat myself down and spread all the papers out, it came together pretty well.  That was a big thing checked off my to-do list.

Hubs and I had some dark chocolate truffles after lunch - very delicious.  And now I'm off to enjoy the TT entries for this week.
