Hellebore

Our one and only hellebore has been flowering for some time. Its habit of low downward looking flowers means it is easily overlooked. It also means that it’s not so easy to photograph without lying nearly flat on the ground and looking a bit of a twerp. But it deserves its place in the sun (or rather shade, it’s not a sun lover).
