Blue bar

Today was probably the most holiday day so far because we stayed close to the resort for the entire day; spent too much time in the hot tub out in the sunshine and ate steak a couple of minutes walking distance from the villa.

We didn’t head out until after lunch when we went to a pizzeria with a view of the sea for a coffee. We took a slow walk along the beach-side roads and climbed a look-out tower to get a view over the beach. We stopped to snap a few sculpture-like objects and bought snacks and supplies in the Spar.

After the remaining afternoon was spent around the villa and, as it headed towards dusk, in the hot tub with a glass of wine, we headed out looking for a bar to spend an hour or so in before we went the the restaurant for dinner.

We chose the Ocean's Cocktail Bar (aka The Blue Bar) because it seemed to be a bit different. It was quite quiet when we went in but we got a seat that was more-or-less on the balcony and ordered some drinks.  It was very pleasant but did have a feeling that we were waiting for something that wasn’t quite there.

Dinner was at Jazz Bistro Restaurant. We’d been searching for a steak and decided that tonight would be the night. The steak was good but, perhaps after the build-up, a little disappointing.
