Tiring Tuesday

Love the colours in this scarf that the Amigos gave me, and wanted to join in with the Tiny Tuesday theme of textiles - but the reality of the day is shown in the extras - barrowing gravel and sharp sand down from the top building and mixing with cement in the mixer for Mike to lay the subfloor in the bit he's rebuilding. 

Because of the slope on our Land, he had to lay three courses of bricks just to get up to the floor level on that end of the house - and that's quite a bit lower than this end.

Gratefuls:
- Ermelinda and Cecílio arriving in a bit for supper, and to catch up; he's had Covid, so not really met up since we got back from England
- being able to help with the building project
- good chats with different people, including our kids and grandkids
