Snow joke!

Woke to sunshine and another covering of snow.
However the snow soon melted and the sun disappeared. Temperatures reached 5C.

Went to buy more bird food, filled up with diesel, and then called to see our friend John who is now out of hospital and back home.
His hip was chipped when he fell, but seems to be healing. He has carers calling three times a day and one called when we were there. A very amiable young man who checked how he was doing with his exercises. They get on very well as both avid Leeds United supporters!.
I must say he is very pleased with his after care. You hear of so much negative reports these days.
He is also very grateful to his neighbours, especially the one who looked after his dog while he was in hospital.
