Le Marais

I caught the 7.01am Eurostar to Paris and arrived 2 hours and 19 minutes later. 
My hotel was only 3 stops from Gare Du Nord so I accidentally booked something reasonably central. Anyway, the hotel is disappointing but I don't intend to spend much time there other than sleeping.
I listened into a 2 hour work meeting in my hotel room before I could head out. 
I decided to visit Père Lachaise Cemetery but when I got there it was closed due to it being blustery. A shame.
So I walked back via Le Marais area and found a Brewdog. I had a couple of Hazy Jane's in there and people-watched. 
I headed back to Gare Du Nord in the evening to meet KC from the Eurostar as she is joining me for the next few days. 
We spent the evening in an Irish bar as she wanted to watch the football.
Then she bought McDonald's on the way back.
Tomorrow I will make her do something French.
