Father's or Mother's Day?

Walking to church this morning, and, in extra, walking back after a post church lunch at the Adega Velha, where we had a good chat with one of the twins who runs the place now, and got treated to a pastel de nata.

Amusing experience at church. Our kids had whatsapped Mother's Day greetings, so was a bit mystified when Mike was handed a card by Leonor as we walked in, but I wasn't... apparently, here, it's Father's Day today!

Off now to check on M and G, before Sem Fim, where there will be at least ten of us.

Gratefuls:
- managing our grapefruit and croissant Sunday breakfast, and kefir and coffee, of course
- a good nap; we were both exhausted from yesterday
- the "explosion of colours" everywhere; walked up the Land on a carpet of pink and yellow; if you want to see the Alentejo at its best, come now, it won't last long, but it's breathtaking at the moment
