Resplendent in Pink

Went out looking for mono images for the Spring theme, and saw that our peach tree has suddenly filled with blossom, can't tell you how beautiful it was in the afternoon sunlight. And I just couldn't put those pinks into mono... Notice the bee flying in from the left. Both this and the neighbouring nectarine got attacked by leaf curl last year. Mike made up a strong garlic solution and we've sprayed twice, plus cleared away all the leaves, really hoping we've got rid of it...

Here the progress on the building, which has taken up most of the day, including a quick trip to the builders' merchant when Mike realised he'd need more large bricks - there are two layers of bricks in the walls, with insulation between the two.

Gratefuls:
- planting the third yellow rose bush I found at last in Badajoz last week
- delicious leftover feijoada Nicéia gave me on Saturday, for lunch, sitting outside
- our regular morning phone interaction with gorgeous Eden (and her parents)
