Backyard reflections

What a difference 12 hours can make! Yesterday evening/night we had some big storms roll through - torrential rains, lots of thunder and lightening, and there were a few tornados spotted, though fortunately not particularly near us, and nowhere that they did any damage to property. Yet this morning we woke to brilliant sunshine and a clear blue sky! Mother Nature can be quite remarkable! Just a fairly routine Sunday - at church in the morning, singing in the choir as usual - we sing next week too, then the choir and bell choirs take a break for the summer. We're always glad of the break, but ready to get back to it at the end of August. When we got home, we finally booked our flights for going to England in July to see the family - just over four weeks away - something to look forward to! Then in the afternoon, we were both working outside - Roger was working on the camper door, which needed repairing, and I was working in the yard and cleaning our patio chairs. So it seems quite appropriate to have a blip from our back yard - reflections in the bird bath.
