The Male Showed up Today

The female Goldfinch has been hanging around my protected area for a few weeks, but the male showed up today. I noticed the female was pursuing him, which I didn't expect until I noticed there were two females. 

There are a male and a  female hummingbird now gathering nesting material from my cotton and wool supplies; they are gone a short amount of time before they come back for a sip of nectar so I am assuming their nest isn't too far from my deck. I am waiting until they finish making the nest to go look for it; I hope I can see in it without disturbing them.
