Turkish Delight

This pretty little box, about fifteen centimetres square, originally contained Turkish Delight with pistachio. The box is made from light, soft wood, like the balsa wood my brothers used to use for model planes. I've been using the box for years to store small sewing things such as embroidery scissors. 

It was a wet and miserable day so I didn't go outside at all.
