Hauturu guards the entrance to Auckland

After collecting Mr H to help with sorting stuff at Fidelis, we spent the rest of the day filling boxes, putting other things in rubbish bags and deciding what to do with what we don't want or need.

Te Hauturu-O-Toi/Little Barrier Island in association with Great Barrier Island, serves as a protection from high winds and/or big seas. It is also a pest-free haven for birds.
