Homeward bound

Not by spaceship of course, but it turned out it was apt being the day NASA announced the crew fir the next Moon flight. (It was a Virginmedia van btw).

School holidays so the, sunny, trip to Cumbernauld was very quick and jam free. Board meeting, which was tortuous and then a phone call walking up and down in the car park.  The afternoon was actioning Board decisions and a couple of meetings.  The last one overran so it was 5 before I got away for an equally fast trip home.

Came home via the Manor for the meter readings and then, worked, till almost midnight. 

Heard that Nigel Lawson has died.  My memories of him, on the BA Gatwick to Toulouse flight Saw him a few times, always with wine, as he travelled to his home in SW France and memorably once when the crew were giving him the 'leftover' mini bottles of wine.
