DMMU approaches Tenterden Town

We took Stella to see Doreen this morning. They’ve known each other for donkeys ears. Stella’s mother and father were friends with Doreen and Ken. Doreen bumped into Stella’s mum in a shop in Bearsden in the mid 60s and discovered they had lot in common. Stella’s dad is still around at 93.

We had lunch in town and travelled down to Tenterden for a mouch round the town which, of course, meant a look in at the station just in time to see the DMMU on its return from Bodiam.

Torrential rain (forecast light showers and sunny intervals) restricted what we could do in the town so we ended up strolling up and down the High Street. We did round off the day with a pint at the Old Dairy Brewery (as we did last Friday)

Susan loved all your wonderful comments about her knitting. She was so delighted.
