THE GENTLE ART OF...

...Swedish Death Cleaning - but it isn't as morbid as it sounds. In fact, it’s not about dying, but it's a lifestyle that revolves around letting go of your junk using the simple question, “Will anyone be happier if I save this?” Or in the words of another great decluttering queen, Marie Kondo, “Does this bring me joy?”

We are both  hoarders, so it is hard to let things go, but we have quite a sizeable pile of stuff to take to a charity shop this week and feel better for having done it.  It also gave me a chance to do a little gentle dusting too on a rainy Monday - although the sun is now shining, but it’s very windy.

I found lots of old LP records and tapes that will probably never be played, but as some are quite old and records or “vinyls” as they are called are making a comeback, perhaps it would be a good idea to try and sell them - if we can be bothered!  Personally, I would rather give them to a charity shop and let them have the profits!

P.S.  Thank you for all your kind comments yesterday - it was great to be able to go to Church, but I was quite tired afterwards, so apologise for not commenting.
