Muddy Legs

This is one of the ponies keeping the grass short on Holt Lowes.  It's not surprising his legs are so muddy given all the rain we've had.  They are always lovely to see wandering about with complete freedom.  

H and I enjoyed a meander around the many paths that crisscross this heathland this morning.  A cool onshore breeze again today but some very welcome sunshine.  We found a sheltered bench for our coffee and sitting in the sunshine was very pleasant.
