A day in the life

Pause

A friend I cooperate with had her birthday and had invited whoever wanted to come for breakfast with bubbles anytime during the morning. People came and went, chats was going on and it was very relaxed. Birthdays used to be such a big thing forty years ago, now they are more to my liking.

Afternoon was used for some gardening and getting more plants. Little by little the garden changes slightly, I can't rush it because one idea leads to the next and so on, I'm in no hurry. The cellar needs attention, the attic as well, the garden is ongoing and then there is the shed that needs organising, not to mention our concert on Tuesday that also needs to be prepared for. Us pensioners live an interesting life. Lots goes on, only a lot slower than before.
It's so easy having a break among cows. Their concentrated grazing and chewing invites to a long coffee brake with an ice cream in the shade.
