Misty Morn...

with a forecast rain...

My sister and I sat out on the patio with our coffees for over an hour this morning watching that mist float about down there in the valley while we listened to a marvellous orchestra of birdsong...a  wonderful chorus of bird calls..so many of which were new to us. We did record some of them to share with the birdwatchers in our family back home, but for the most part just sat quietly and listened..Later I spent some time perusing a website of common birds in France... and will now be on the lookout for some of them! 

The rain began as predicted, so our plans to venture out were put on hold and we focused on our computers for the afternoon ..I made a good start on my photo book for our Limoux adventure, and sent a few emails home. My daughter called from Canada and got us up to date on cottage season and our own cottage opening which will be happening soon... Good to know that by the time we return to Canada, everything will be ready for summer!

Tomorrow the British friends we met last week are coming to visit, so that will be the highlight of what is forecast to be yet another rainy day.. an easy conversation with new friends ...in English!
