River Tay

Yet another grey and overcast day.  There were things to be done, and then I eventually got myself out for a run  It was mild and a bit muggy, but it was a nice run, on one of my usual routes, so just over five miles.

After lunch TT and I had bags to pack before we headed off to Perth.  We left BB with the fridge bulging with food, his school books and lots of peace to study.  We had a lovely drive up the road, especially as the weather brightened up considerably, once we got away from the blanket of haar.

We checked into our hotel and headed straight back out to go for a walk in the sunshine.  We wandered to the Tay and along and round the  North Inch.  We walked back into town for a drink before dinner, then had a lovely meal at Café Tabou.  It never disappoints.  The food is amazing.  We wandered back to our hotel, checking in with BB to make sure he was ok and had managed to feed himself.  It was and he had!

Yesterday I blipped the River Tweed, today another of Scotland’s magnificent rivers – the River Tay at Perth.  The extra is Perth Bridge over the tay.
