Blipbear and Kiwi Visit ArtistAnnie

Blipbear and Kiwi came to our house with our good friend Local Food Lover. We had a lovely visit with coffee and yummy treats from Avenue Bread. Blipbear had quite a hard time waiting for his turn with the goodies. He was sporting a new badge on his hat from Duma and Mehitabel. Can you guess which one it is? In his backpack was a new rock from the desert near Las Vegas and he was ready to party. Kiwi was wearing his new bowler hat and feeling chuffed to be sitting in front of all those pastries. He was having a bit of a problem deciding which to eat first. Ann, Arvin and Cynthia were having a lovely chat about cameras. It was a delicious morning for all.

I wanted to repost a link to the family photo I took yesterday. At the end of the day I wished I had blipped it instead of the black and white fern photo. But there were many comments so I didn't want to change. I put it on Facebook instead. Hopefully the link above will take you there if you want to see it.

Now it is time to get back to packing and making sure we are ready to take off way too early Wednesday morning for our trip to Boston and New York. We are getting excited and the kitties are getting nervous because they see the suitcases. No need for them to worry though as their favorite house sitter (my painting buddy) Sue will be here to take care of them while we are gone.
