Up town to have a talk with someone about this kitchen. We agreed on a nice colour. That’s a start, anyway.
And late-afternoon out for a sail for a few hours with a new crewmate - DJ just lives along the street and a few years ago did his RYA Competent Crew course. And he’s very keen to crew!
The forecast was sunny intervals, but they never really materialised. And the breeze breezed fairly strongly, but round the top of Inchcolm we gybed and sedately slid along Mortimer’s Deep, past the Abbey and took the narrow channel inside Swallow Craig. Aaarg, shipmate. Here’s a cup of tea. Strong, like. Aaarg. Here’s the boat hook. Look Lively!
