Wound up in Wexford

Watering .....

.... in Ireland?

If anyone had told us, in what seemed to us quite a wet April but was probably quite normal in the Emerald Isle, that we would need to water our trees in May, we would have laughed in their face.  But we haven't had any rain for several weeks, there's none forecast for the rest of this week, and these are a bit fragile, having only been planted mid April.  So W was out with the hose this evening.  Actually - all three of our hoses, in series, are needed to reach the furthest trees.

We had breakfast outside.  Then we did a stock take of our bedding, finding family takers for some of the items we no longer need, and deciding what items we need to buy.  Then, W put more paint on parts of the swing seat - not much more needed now before we can construct it.  And I spent some time in the sewing room.

After lunch we drove up to Enniscorthy, where we picked up the last of the house paint.  There's a Mr Price next door to the paint store, where we ticked off a few more random items from our "need to buy " list.  But we missed the charity shop to drop off a few more bits.  Oh well - next time!
