Peony

Spotted this little one hiding in the undergrowth in the garden.. and what a beauty she is!
Glorious hot day here .. the first actually as the wind is finally not quite as icy as it has been and the sun has shone all day.  I had a happy time this afternoon making my first cordage from some dandelion stems!!  It was super fun and while I was making it I was thinking about what an ancient and amazing craft this is.  As old as man probably and it must have been so useful for so many things. Really I think everyone should know how to make this.. I cannot wait to get going on my daffodil stem bundle but they are taking a little longer to dry. 
Happy sunday one and all I am off to eat our barbecue supper.. nom  nom!
