These poppies have started blooming, although the colour's not quite right here as they look too scarlet... but still gorgeous!

I went bouldering at 10 o'clock when the Climbing Unit opened, and bought a 3 month pass which will encourage me to go twice a week. Today, the first visit for 2 months, was very tiring, as expected, and I'd had enough after 45 minutes. I must remember to take my chalk in hot weather!

I've now found somewhere for the fennel bought the other day, and got it in the ground. It apparently needs 6 hours of sunshine per day to do well, which is fine with our current weather pattern, but usually..... hmm.
