Teddington / Streatham

This is a late posting

This morning we said farewell to our very kind hosts and walked down to Teddington High Street to meet two friends for coffee.  One was due at 11am and the other at midday.  The one due at midday turned up at 11am and the other at almost midday!  We had a lovely time with them both and eventually had to walk to the station to catch the train to Clapham Junction, then on to Streatham to stay with MrMacD’s son and his family.  After we’d dropped our bags and had a chat we got a lift to the station as it was tipping down with rain and there was also thunder and lightning.  We duly arrived in London Bridge Station and walked to the Thameside Inn to meet some former work colleagues of mine.  We had another lovely evening catching up with lots of news and eventually headed back to London Bridge Station to return to Streatham.  The “people to meet” list is reducing!
