Raindrops on redwood

One of the first trees we planted in our garden in Norfolk was a Dawn Redwood.  It had grown well, and when we were planning our woodland area here, we were pleased to find that the garden centre was able to supply a good sized young tree.

It rained during the night, and we woke to more rain, but it did clear up, as forecast, and we've had a day with sunshine and showers.  I had another sewing day - 2nd shopping bag finished.

W varnished the parts of the stacking beds, and baked some soda bread.  And our security alarm went off twice during the night, and several times more today.  There's a fault, but we're struggling to track down someone to look at it and advise.
