Chick

A dear wee bluetit fledgling on the rowan tree. In between showers and drying its fluffy feathers. 

This is it for today. June is birthday month in this family and although it's now July today is the day for a joint celebration. Not everyone whose birthday falls in June can be here which is a shame but I have said I'll send my BiL a photo of the cake. Better get on with it!  There will be 10 here for lunch. I suspect we'll have to eat inside but let's see. 

My grandson will be staying when everyone else goes home ready for his Monday with us. Maybe he'll help to clear up.
