A milestone

Today each of the twins put on his own shoes for the first time!  They were canvas sandals with Velcro straps, a bit tricky to work with, but they did it easily.  I was excited to see it.  For some reason Sam did most of his playing out of my sight, so I have no good photos of him, but Max played with the dump truck and a collection of rocks for a long time, so that is what you see here.  Both boys were in sunny moods, which was lovely for me, as I was in need of some family joy.

Tomorrow I go for a follow-up of my hand surgery and in the afternoon Natalie will come to help me get the apartment squared away before I start dialysis on Tuesday.
