I'd taken myself off the 12 mile walk today, but wanted to test my new boots so did one of my "lockdown walks". The boots are very comfy, see extra. I'm not sure they're stiff enough for my crampons, I'll have to try them

When I got back I began the jobs on the list, and got loads done including cutting down the old raspberry canes, tying in the new ones, pulling up the rest of the broadbeans, weeding, applying for an allotment  - well half of one - putting Mary's old climbing shoes up for sale and painting the edge of the bathroom ceiling! I haven't quite got to the bottom of the list but almost.

It looks as though it's going to be a dry night, I might sleep in the garden...
