Another washout of a day

Thought about going for a walk this morning but the rain put me off so in between showers I went out in the garden to tidy up a bit. A neighbour came over to talk, the drizzle began and I ended up looking like a drowned rat by the time I got back inside. 
Billinge rain! Only locals will understand that phrase.
It has rained the rest of the day, sometimes hard. Had a lazy day although not by choice.
Hoping to get some caching done on Tuesday if the weather allows.
It's been a typically wet weekend.
