Oh Happy Day....

I ran out and got a happy photo just for this blip! 

The vet called this morning ..which was totally unexpected as the clinic is closed on weekends and as it is a holiday weekend, that would include Monday as well..and she had said she would call after the weekend.. BUT..she called today to give me some good news...

Maggie's bloodwork results were back and showed that everything is normal..pancreas, kidneys etc..except her thyroid reading. She had been on meds for hyperthyroid..and the meds were to lower her reading.. well, they lowered it too much! So now we have to change the dosage..and test again in another month...That would account for her lethargy. The vet advises monitoring her to see if she perks up and to watch for recurrence of her other symptoms, but she also says our major worries have been alleviated by those positive blood results...

So I am on Maggie-watch....and feeling so much better...and hoping she is too...
