Oh Phin

Is that the face of a dog who is concerned about the fact that he’s eaten something he shouldn’t as he’s put on 2kg overnight! He was at daycare today and we wish ever he got into a bag of unattended food as his tummy was very swollen when we brought him home. He was pants and breathing very fast so we popped to the vets who confirmed that there’s something in his tummy but as he was quite bright and generally looked ok, we’re happy for us to take him home and see if he improves overnight. He’s had an anti sickness injection and will hopefully sleep it off/pass it through his system.

Whilst he was gorging himself we took a trip to the blue and yellow warehouse as Miss PHL wanted some storage boxes. Not sure how the huge yellow octopus soft toy found its way into the trolley but Phin seemed pleased with it. We also popped into Costco, M&S and Dunelm Mill. Miss PHL is much brighter today, her night out with friends obviously did her good.

We had dropped the big car at the garage for an MOT and a minor recall notice before 10 this morning and we’re expecting to collect it later this afternoon but instead we’re faced with a potential MOT fail on the tyres, oops. So we left the car with the garage who gave sourced tyres and will fit them tomorrow.

Not having to drive down the bypass again frees up a bit of time and I was hoping to leave in good time to walk with my friend Fiona abc get dogs but I had an episode of migraine without headache, ie just the visual disturbance which has left me rather tired. I don’t have them very often these days but guess all my poor sleeps recently have taken their toll. Walk rearranged for next week but given the state of Phin it’s just as well it was rearranged.
