The view to the hills

A very busy day. I was never off the head of the road.

Started by cycling to the pool. It's always warmer on a Monday. Then took the car to the garage for its repair. Walked up to Dunelm to get a couple of photoframes. Bus home, in and out and off to the dentist. #24 was allegedly diverted so got off at Newington and walked along the Meadows. It was getting really warm so was v pleasant. I even managed a seat in the sun as I was early.

Half an hour later I came out, job done and considerably poorer. This may be the future as the practice is probably to go private by the end of the year.

Walked up to K's new ground floor flat. They still have no internet after a month, and no phone signal either.  They are very frustrated. I did manage to take one call though. Car is fixed and less than estimated. After a good catch up walked down to the Manor to drop off the new photo in its frame.

Then buses home and another in, out picking up the M&S delivery on the way. Bus up the road to collect the car and then to Sainsbury's. A long call to S about a non issue at work and then collected the Argos parcel (a theme is emerging) and did the messages, veg and fruit.

Home via wee Tesco to drop off the Evri return and it was 6 before I got in.

I was exhausted and couldn't be bothered cooking so a cheese sandwich, the first and last food of the day.

Did some family stuff for J who is talking about going to Oz next year and then by 9 gave in to general exhaustion. I'm not a step counting addict but it was over 13k today.

And the parcels? They remain unopened. That's tomorrow's job.
