Sunset

It was a mostly quiet day.

I spent a lot of time sorting through artwork, sticking things in sketchbooks and making the occasional collage. It was relaxing.

Early evening I had a face-to-face volunteering meeting. It was held in the uber-salubrious Harlow House care home, which opened early this year in Aldershot. The care home management very kindly allowed us to use their facilities free of charge for our meeting, even providing tea and coffee. If one has to spend one's sunset years in a care home then I think you could do a lot worse than Harlow House. The fees are rumoured to be expensive, though. But there again you can't take it with you and three square meals a day in a pleasant dining room with everything else taken care of, well, what's not to like?

On the way home the sky turned a wonderful shade of pink so I pulled over to get a photograph.
