An ordinary life....

Happy Birthday...

to Mr Trouble-with-a-capital-T! :-))

I honestly cannot believe Alan is 27 today!  The time has just flown!  He's now just two years younger that I was when I had him.  That blows my mind.

His birthday started well will a lie in.  Well every day usually starts like that but this was a birthday lie in :-)

Once up and having had lunch (yes that much of a lie in!  :-)) I helped him open his birthday cards.  He absolutely loves opening cards, looking at them and hearing who they are from.  We agreed he would wait till D returned from golf and they'd had the birthday swim before opening his pressies (he is less fussed about pressies lol!)

He and Vickie headed out and ended up at the cafe in Dobbies at Stirling (his choice! lol) before returning just before 5pm, in time for his pool session.  What a scream that was!  lol

David was in the pool with him along with Jordan and Vickie.  I was supposed to go in too but was waiting for an important call that never came. Grrrrr!  But on the bright side, it meant I got to capture all the fun taking place in the pool.  Sadly the light was very low so the photos are very noisy, but I think they tell a story.

After swimming and dinner it was time for cake and pressies.  After his recent ill health it's been great to see him so happy, enthusiastic and energised.  He was keen to open all his gifts (in the past he would only open one or two then wait for days to open any more!) and he loved them all, especially the head massager and new sun hat (now all we need is some sun!)

He was exhausted after an hour in the pool so after cake and pressie opening, he wanted to chill out watching a film.  One not familiar to me but it made him laugh and laugh so I must check it out.

Another lovely birthday.  He's come a long way.

In other news our little pals Anna and Faith were back to school today (see extra) Well it was back to school for Anna (P5, again, how did that happen?!) but it was Faith's first day.  I adore their uniforms.  Those little kilts are just soooooo cute!

Faith had a good first day but conked out as soon as she got home.  It's such a lot to take in for a wee person.

Esme's turn to start school tomorrow, which is exciting, as is the fact we are meeting our friend Lin's new golden retriever puppy.  I shall be spoiled for a blip tomorrow :-))
