Awaiting more digging

This area (which was fully cleared up to the hedge the following week) has grown rather a lot of weeds.  Next job to progress our garden plan is to take down at least some of the hedge between this and the patio, clear the area as much as possible of roots from the hedges, then dig a large hole for the ornamental pool.  All quite energetic - that's why we've employed T to help!

We've had another gentle day.  I've done more quilting, and helped W with some sawing.  W spent some time in the workshop, but also did some garden work.  And B (who failed to arrive on Wednesday because he was delayed on his delivery rounds) came and looked at our hedge, gave us an estimated price, and will make a start within the next 4 weeks, weather permitting.
