Buses, Planes and Automobiles

We were collected from our hotel by coach at 5.35am, our flight was due to leave at 11.15, but fog at Newcastle airport caused some delays in outbound flights, with the Manchester flight on the gate next to us showing a 1 hour delay. Luckily, we were only delayed about 20 minutes, and most of that time was made up in the air. 

Getting back to Newcastle, we found our car had been knocked in the car park (owners risk) so that put a little dampener on our return. By the time we got home it was 4pm UK time (5pm Italian time) - so almost 12 hours travelling.

The good news is before we left the Hotel, we've already booked again for next year.
