Non Mono

After my mono Blip (mostly grey) yesterday I have gone for colour today. 

Dinner (well, part of it). 

To relieve the monotony of my regular Tuesday laundry duties, I decided to make something new, different and (hopefully) exciting for dinner. I grabbed my Scandinavian recipe book off the shelf and made marinated raw beetroot. It may not be clear from the photo but the beetroot is sliced carpaccio thin. 

Fortunately it was delicious. Even more fortunately, I have a little left for tomorrow. 

For the record, the recipe belongs Erwin Lauterbach, sometime of Saison in Copenhagen. I have tried another of his dishes from that book and it was great too.
