Wound up in Wexford

More tool use

It's been another lovely autumn day, and we've taken advantage of it to get more stuff done outside.

After breakfast, we planted some daffodil bulbs in the "woodland area" - just one bag from Lidl so far but we may be tempted to have another session later this week if we can buy more.  We don't want to overface ourselves - we can add bulbs gradually over the next few years.

Then we cut up wood for raised beds, which allowed W to once again play with his tool!  We've got J coming back in a couple of weeks, because we need him to move/relay the wires for Husky to allow for the raised bed area, and the polytunnel.

After that, I booked a fluting weekend in London - W will drop me in Rosslare Harbour, and I'll do "sail and rail" to London.  I also booked a concert in Dublin for next Friday - we'll do that as a day trip, using Luas Park and Ride.

And then - after helping W with some restacking of the remaining wood for more raised beds - I did some flute playing, and finished the day with some ironing.

We've resisted turning on the heating (extra jumpers and blankets) thus far, but I note the forecast is for fine days but cold nights over the few days - W brought in the cycad this evening.
