A view from Jeanneb

Jude and the planet.

This morning we took the bus into bath to visit the art installation ‘Gaia’ by Luke Jerram on display at Bath Abbey this month.

Jude enjoyed the bus, we sat on the front seat upstairs, and was very impressed by the planet earth. She was familiar with the word planet from Julia Donaldson ‘The Smeds and the Smoos!

At almost exactly the same time last year we saw Jerram’s ‘Moon’ similarly sized art installation on show at Bolton Priory.

Another picture of Gaia, which was slowly spinning, in the extra together with Eda’s take on wearing red to school for Anti-Racism Day.

We came back on the bus, front seat upstairs again,  in time for lunch and after Eda comes home from school, we will take them into Larkhall for Eda’s ballet lesson as Grace has to go into Bristol for her own school’s parents evening.

Not been too bad today, just the odd shower and quite warm with spells of sun. Tomorrow isn’t looking so good so Eda’s school Harvest Festival walk across the fields to Woolley Church has sadly been cancelled. Awaiting news on whether it will be re scheduled to the church across the road from the school in Swainswick.
