Super speedy girls

A wonderful autumn Sunday morning for a walk down to Alice Park with the girls on bikes and scooters.
It really was one of the those blue sky mornings that make you feel glad to be alive. Grace did do very well considering she had a hangover!

John stayed behind to make Sunday lunch. A shame really as he would have loved to see the girls speeding around the paths. There is a level circuit that is used for bike safety training complete with a roundabout. Lots of people take their little ones there to gain confidence. Jude was speeding round here on her scooter, no lack of confidence with her at the moment.
Eda now cycles right around the periphery path of the park, up the hill and past the tennis courts and down the hill again, which is quite an achievement and a sign of her increased confidence.

We had a coffee and the girls had ice creams before heading back up the hill home for that yummy Sunday lunch.

We left after lunch and called in at Dyrham Park for a little pre Christmas National Trust shop.  It was understandably very busy on such a lovely day.
I did  save on postage but ended up spending more!

Home now, just caught the final result of Strictly

Won’t be seeing the girls now until the first weekend in December when they are coming up to go on the KWVR Elf Express - I’ve been told I have to have the Christmas tree up!
