Land-and-seascapes

Scotland, day 3 of 6.

Today is Potter day.
We've visited 5 film locations from the Harry Potter movies.

First, of course, we saw the Jacobite Steamtrain huffin' en puffin' over the Glenfinnan viaduct (photo in the extra section). We arrived on the scene early and after discussing shortly about the position we would take, the waiting game began. After an hour or so, the magic happened.
After that we walked over to the shore of Loch Shiel. That was the 2nd location.
We then bought a quick lunch in the visitors centre (Piri piri chicken slice) and ate it outside.

The third location took us 13 kilometers down the road, a small island in Loch Eilt, that was used in the film as the location of Dumbledore's grave. Also Voldemort got possession of the elder wand here. (this information comes from Bas.)

I choose this location for my blip.
A beautiful location with lots of photo potential.

Via Fort William we set course back towards Glencoe. Once in that area we experienced as weather change when rain and drizzle kicked in. We had had a hot chocolate in the Kingshouse Hotel.
Unfortunately no deer were around.

Our 4th location was a short visit to the parking opposite the three sisters. These mountains occur a lot in the Potter movies.
The 5th and final spot was where Hagrid's hut used to be.

I parked up at the Clachaig Inn and we walked over to Hagrid's hut. Also a place with beautiful views.
After that we had a nice dinner in the Clachaig Inn.

Another great day here in Scotland!
