Bling!

We’ve been into Leeds today and everywhere you looked was Christmas bling! I’m amazed at the glitzy clothes on sale everywhere and wonder who wears them and where and when?
I’ve chosen this shot of the Victoria Arcade as although there is a Christmas tree in the centre it is slightly disguised by all the foliage. Apart from a few poppy sellers there didn’t seem to be anything relating to Remembrance Day this weekend.

Chris requested going to Trinity Kitchen for lunch as he wanted Vietnamese Pho. There were lots of mobile street food stalls as usual and lots of people. It has remained very popular but the prices have certainly gone up.

Back by mid afternoon without spending too much. Trains were on time but we had delays at both ends due to buses that hadn’t turned up. I’m all in favour of public transport and don’t mind bus travel but I find it wearying waiting extended periods because a scheduled bus hasn’t appeared!

We’re both pretty done in now. I didn’t have a bad night last night and Chris had a bit better one but was still up at 4.30 and we’re both still coughing so we’ve decided to give our weekly early drink with friends at the pub a miss - as much fur them as us. Haven’t decided about the early walk tomorrow yet bed might be too tempting!

I get craft/knitting emails every day and I always check out the patterns.  Do you know you can knit a postbox and robin cover for your chocolate orange and robin covers for your Ferreiro Rocher!! How have we managed without them?
