Yellowish Purple Finch

I've never seen a Purple Finch with this yellow color before so figured it was worthy of a few photos.  I haven't been able to find any reference to a yellow-morph of this species, although that appears to be what it is.  And most likely a hatch-year bird.

The part (igniter) for our stove came in today so I took Jax out for a snifari walk while Hubs let the repairman in to install it.  Jax likes to sound the alarm when anyone comes to the door, so easier to take him out for a while.  Not to mention, he'd have wanted to be right in the middle of the kitchen "supervising".  

We had Phoebe in for blood work last evening and got her results today.  Her thyroid and kidney levels are all fine although she's lost almost 1.5 pounds.  We are going to try an appetite stimulant to see if we can get her to eat a bit more.  She seems to feel okay but is looking frail.  

And speaking of Phoebe, she's here now looking for a lap so I'm going to accommodate her!
