Day at a Time

Old Viewforth

A few weeks ago I blipped Langgarth House the now derelict former HQ of the social work department. Today it's the turn of Old Viewforth which stands on the same local authority owned bit of land. Old Viewforth houses the Council Chambers, Members' Services and other such municipal functions. The bit you see here is a 1930s Art Deco extension of a Victorian house. Between Old Viewforth and Langgarth stood the extremely ugly and now demolished New Viewforth.  You can read about both Old and New Viewforth here, should you be interested.

Haircut followed by coffee in town this morning.  A walk to the other side of town to secure the blip then a further walk this afternoon. The weather is a lot better than it has been so far this week. Washing on the line.

Shetland #3 tonight.
